This original landscape, surrounded by mountains, cactus and different coloured earth, is the location of the village of Tilcara in the Humahuaca ravine, declared a World Heritage site. The facade of the old house has been restored preserving the harmony of the stone houses in Ambrosetti street. In the interior the architecture is predominantly pre-hispanic with clay, stone and cane. The guest rooms, on several floors, have been decorated in earthy colours, interesting and comfortable furniture and fabrics and wools from the local area. There are double rooms, junior suites and a master suite with a king size bed. There is a friendly and relaxing atmosphere at this inn - the open hearth separates the dining room from the sitting room giving a warm ambience. The restaurant is excellent, offering regional food with an innovative touch and the winelist is extensive. This hotel is in the heart of Tilcara - MSN shows Tilcara in the wrong place.
