With the authorization of the client, a minimum of 30% of the total a mount of the reservation is charged on their credit card by the hotel. Hotel Aldebaran, on the San Pedro Peninsula, is only 23 km from Bariloche in the midst of beautiful scenery, forests, mountains and lakes - an ideal base for exploring the Patagonian Lake District. The Aldebaran has just ten en-suite guestrooms with breathtaking views from individual balconies or the terrace. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped and comfortably furnished. The Sirius Restaurant specializes in regional dishes, delicious meals baked in mud-ovens and the traditional Argentine Parrilla (barbecue). The chef is well known for using local organic food flavored with fresh herbs and spices. Home made bread is baked every morning, and jams and marmalade are made with local fruits and berries. There is also an excellent wine cellar stocked with the best Argentine wines. For relaxation, guests have exclusive use of the spa, offering hydrotherapy, sauna, massage, and an indoor-outdoor heated swimming pool. For the more active there are plenty of outdoor activities in the area: lakeside and underwater sports, kayak and rafting; horseback riding, and trekking through grottos and ancient forests with special paths and look-out points.
