This new hotel and spa is located in el Calafate, a city of about 17,000 inhabitants (about a 3 hour flight from Buenos Aires) on the south shore of Lake Argentino at the foot of the Andes. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport and a shuttle is available (let us know your arrival time if you wish to be picked up). This is an excellent base from which to explore the National Glacier Park. There are fifty four rooms at this special hotel and spa - choose from double or triple rooms and beautiful junior and master suites. The double rooms have views over the lake or the mountains and have warm colour schemes with wood, leather and stone completing the Patagonian feel. These rooms have either one king bed or two twin beds. The junior suites have an additional sitting area and jacuzzi tubs. The master suites are spacious (105m2) with one bedroom, a large living room and dining area and a complete bathroom with shower. The sweeping views are of the surrounding lake and mountains. The restaurant Cicero, an elegant bistro, is located opposite the hotel and features a menu of international cuisine in a contemporary style. The views are lovely from inside and from the deck (where you may dine when the weather is good). Guests have access to the fitness facilities which include swimming pool and jacuzzi, gym, sauna and Scottish shower (open every day from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m.). The hotel can also suggest several walking circuits. The business centre, with its multilingual staff, has high speed internet access, Xerox, audiovisual equipment. The staff will be pleased to make airline reservations. The spa offers two to seven night Imago programs to relax, destress, detox, lose weight or kick-start a new fitness routine (or, of course, you may design your own spa activities).

There is no charge for children under the age of 2 sharing a room with adults in existing bedding.

Notes Late Check-out: 50% of the room rate will be charged to guests leaving between 12:00 - 18:00 hrs. Those departing after 18:00 hrs. will be charged 100% of the room rate. If your arrival is early in the day and you prefer immediate access to your room, we recommend reserving for the prior night to guarantee immediate access. Similarly, for late departures, reserving an additional night will guarantee access until you leave the Hotel. If you choose not to reserve, we will be glad to store your bags and make our Fitness facilities available for you to freshen up.

Cancellation Policy:
Inns of Argentina will take a 15% non-refundable deposit at the time of confirming your reservation and Imago Hotel & Spa will take the other 15%. Cancellations for a hotel room reservation must be received 7 days prior to the expected day of arrival. If cancellation of a guaranteed reservation is received between 7 and 2 days prior the required date, the Hotel will charge for one night's accommodation. Within 48hs of the day of arrival, the Hotel will charge 100% of the guaranteed reservation. For details of cancellation policies and deposit requirements, please check at time of booking. This is applied to your check-out bill.
