In El Calafate, close to the Perito Moreno Glacier, is this new inn, Hosteria Los Hielos. Just 2.5 km from the centre of town, on the Redonday Bay, the wood and stone building has been created to allow guests wonderful views of Patagonic beauty: lakes, summits, ice and magnificent landscapes. The woods used in construction of the inn include lengas from Ushuaia and cypress from The Bolson. There are ten standard rooms and two superior rooms on two levels. All have large windows, handcrafted furniture, comfortable beds, DDI telephones, WIFI, television, fridge, hairdryer and - in the superior rooms - hydro massage tubs. Breakfast is served buffet-style, with a good selection of fruits of the region and at dinner, you may enjoy typical lamb from the spit and other regional dishes accompanied by the best Argentinian wines. Inns of Argentina will take a 15% non-refundable deposit at the time of confirming your reservation. There is no charge if cancelled 30 days or prior to the reservation date. If cancelled between 29 and 15 days before reservation date, one night will be charged as penalty. In cancelled between 14 and 7 days prior reservation date 50% of the total will be charged by the hotel. If cancelled within 6 days before the reservation date or No Show, full amount will be charged. Inns en Route will take a 15% non-refundable deposit at the time of confirming your reservation.
