Surrounded by vineyards and gardens full of olive and plum trees, it is a gorgeous place to explore. The country-style house reflects the art of combining Andean stone with typical desert wood, for a natural, simple and modern look. All rooms are tastefully decorated and may be prepared for single, double, triple and even quad use. The rooms on the ground floor all have sliding glass doors that face the garden and the top floor rooms have balconies. The rooms have wireless internet, air conditioning, central heating, safety deposit boxes, cable TV and telephones (Direct dialling). In the private bathrooms of each room, special or classic rooms, Lares de Chacras offers Jacuzzis or bathtubs. The minute any guest walks in, they know they are in a land of wines. You can see an original window on the floor, showing the view of a wine cellar covered in stone and logs. The perfect atmosphere for tasting the best wines from Mendoza. There are huge logs featured in the building's construction - a style that inspired the architect of Lares de Chacras. The natural environment is seen through all windows and doors, a typical view of Chacras de Coria, the galleries, the park, swimming pool and hot tub, solarium and a quincho (a covered area commonly used for barbecues and special clay ovens, and always available for guests who love out-door life.) Lares is placed in the middle of the gastronomic area in Chacras de Coria, which guarantees a variety of restaurants, for all tastes. The hotel also offers room service (snacks) that include empanadas and red wine from Finca El Reposo, tomatoes with the house's own extra virgin olive oil Vita Mediterránea, and weekend specials. Outside in the quincho you can enjoy an asado – Argentine barbeque or pork cooked in brick ovens (you must reserve in advance)

Notes Lares is 30 km from the mountain area where you can enjoy adventure tours -- Kayak, Rafting, Canopo among other activities. Visit the Hotel Termas de Cacheuta, hot springs, that offers Spa products and activities. Wine tours can be combined with two collaborators for Lares de Chacras. Just a few kilometres away from Lares you can find many wineries, such as: Altavista, Luigi Bosca, Cavas de Weinert, Finca La Amalia, Nieto Senetiner, Viniterra, Dominio del Plata, Terrazas de los Andes, Catena Zapata, Trivento, Flichman, Palo Alto. Golf: about 7 km from Lares, there is an important golfcourse La Vacherie, Edy can accompany any of the guests and even challenge them to play 18 holes. Tennis: George, Horacio and/or Edy can join you for an afternoon of tennis at the Oasis Club. If you want, you can combine a match, all you have to do is bring your racket to avoid excuses later. Cycling:
guests can use the bicycles at no charge - visit Chacras de Coria and see the town square, the Perpetuo Socorro Parish, the streets lined with trees, the tennis club, the Altavista Winery, among other places.

Deposit: At the time of confirming your reservation the Hotel will charge you with 30% of the total reserved, and Inns of Argentina will take a 15% non-refundable deposit upon confirming your reservation. The full balance will be charged 30 days prior to arrival date.
Cancellations made more than fifteen days prior to reservation date, no hotel penalty. Cancellations made 15 to 8 day prior to date of reservation date, 25% of the total amount reserved will be charged. Cancellations made 7 to 4 days prior to stay, 50% of the total amount will be charged. Cancellations made less than 3 days prior to stay, full amount will be charged.

The staff was fantastic - that is the best part of the Inn. They were extremely helpful and could make trip/tour arrangements for us very quickly. The accomodations were pretty nice and the location was good...we didn't have a car and were able to walk to several good restaurants.

The internet wireless connection didn't work well in the room. I was more "in town" with houses around us than we expected but that had its advantages as well. ” Rating: Good
