On a tree-lined streeet in Palmermo Viejo (or Soho as the Portenos call it) is the new small hotel Krista, in a beautifully renovated twentieth century building. Very well located for all the delightful gastronomic restaurants and funky bars, the hotel is filled with natural light and one has a sense of spacious comfort. The ten ensuite rooms are beautifully decorated with modern furniture, soft white cotton linens and state of the art bathrooms. The rooms are flooded with daylight from the courtyard. There are king beds in all the rooms, satellite television, internet, telephone and safe. The hotel also has 24 hour room service and breakfast is offered for extended hours to meet guests' needs. There is also laundry service offered. There are two courtyards and one garden complete with tables and chairs. On warm days enjoy breakfast on the interior patio with its mosaics. There is no restaurant at the hotel itself, but there are lots in the area. The staff are young and very helpful and will be pleased to organize excursions, taxis, restaurant reservations for you.
