This is an extraordinary place to stay in the heart of Buenos Aires in the district of Recoleta. In a one hundred year old townhouse a small charming hotel with thirty six beautifully decorated rooms, all with private bathroom and air conditioning (some with small balconies) has been created. The double rooms are of various sizes - small and cosy (which are quite small), queen and king. Nine of the rooms have twin beds, and all others have one large bed. Some of the rooms can be combined with adjacent rooms to provide accommodation fo families. The rooms have cable television, minibar, hairdryer, telephone and, in the lobby, a free internet access. The ground floor is turned into an art exhibition with paintings, drawings and photographs changed each month. There is also a living room, breakfast room (which becomes a bar in the afternoons/evenings) and a roof-top garden with jacuzzi. The staff are young and helpful and can help you plan transportation, tango shows, cultural events, etc. There are numerous restaurants very close to the hotel. Note that it would be madness to have a car in B.A., there is very little parking and the traffic is hectic. The hotel can get you taxi or private car (remise) for your inner-B.A. excursions.
