Legado Mitico Salta

Legado Mítico is located in the historic quarter of Salta - just five blocks away from the city’s traditional main square and twenty minutes from Martín Miguel de Güemes International Airport (Salta). This old mansion once belonged to a patrician Salteñan family and, after careful restoration and renovation, is now a lovely eleven room inn. At the entrance there is a fine staircase of carved wood with a crowning skylight. There is also a delightful roof terrace. The important oil paintings create a special atmosphere, while a colonial wardrobe is now used to keep a small wine collection with a selection of high-altitude wines waiting to be tasted. The big library and the fireplace are welcoming and a central patio lined with poplars allows light to stream through all the rooms. The room décor is a pleasing mix of classical and modern - every object, piece of furniture and painting has been chosen carefully for its cultural significance. Each room is spacious and bright with full modern bathroom and features flat screen tv and dvd player, minibar, safe, air conditioning, wifi internet access, direct dial telephone, and hairdryer in the full bathroom. Rooms are in various categories from standard to luxury. The multilingual staff are friendly and helpful and can organize transfer service to/from the airport (extra charge). There are many special touches at this new hotel: early check-in and late check-out can be facilitated, personalised breakfast service, twice a day maid service and assistance planning tours of the area. Only breakfast is served at the Legado Mitico Salta (included in the price of your room) but there are many restaurants within easy walking distance.
