Red Wine Hotel

This simple nine room hotel – bed and breakfast style - is about a ten minute walk from San Rafael centre. There is not much to see from the outside but once you walk through its front door you will be impressed with this cosy, beautifully designed hotel with lovely details and a pleasant communal area. Each of the nine spacious ensuite bedrooms are individually customized and named after different red wine grape types. Some of the rooms overlook to a small patio with swimming pool and others are facing a tranquil street. The little inn has a warm atmosphere and the staff is friendly and knowledgeable and, if you wish, the owners will be helpful in planning excursions. San Rafael is 230 km South East of Mendoza, nestled at the confluence of Atuel and Diamante rivers, and surrounded by a landscape of mountains, valleys, sun and water, with excellent outdoor activities available in the nearby Cañón del Atuel and elsewhere. Important wine cellars such us Lavaque, Bianchi, Suter and others are also close by for tours and tastings.
