Ave María is a Norman style country estate set in a 40 hectare garden with ancient oak trees, conifers and magnolia trees. The house has spacious rooms that are decorated in a classical style. Some have a fireplace and others have beautiful views of the mountains. The common areas include a reading room, a games room and a sitting room with a fireplace for the cold winter afternoons. The former henhouse has been skillfully converted into a meeting room that holds up to 50 people. This room is set apart from the house in the garden and is a very peaceful place to work. The owner, Asunti Pereyra Iraola, goes to great trouble to ensure that the hotel offers a restful, tranquil atmosphere for guests - and with excellent service.
