Malabia House was one of the first boutique inns in B.A. and it is now a firm favourite of travellers from around the world. In a fascinating old building, the hotel offers fifteen double rooms (all with their own bathroom of course) which surround the central patio on several floors. The rooms have air conditioning and heating, television, minibar and telephone. The rooms are of varying sizes, some with outer-facing windows and others with patio-facing windows. There is 24 hour concierge and room service, buffet breakfast, reading room/lounge. The young staff are friendly and helpful and can arrange transportation and help you plan your excursions in this vibrant city. Malabia House does not have a sign outside - just look for 1555. When we arrived my daughter and husband were very ill. The woman in charge ordered out some food for us and arranged for a later checkout time there and an earlier checkout at the next place. I couldn't have been more impressed by the facilities or the personal care.
