Rates:
Hotel prices listed are for 2007. Hotel prices are shown in a range--the exact price of your room often depends on a number of variables, including high, low or mid-season, special holidays, normal or superior rooms, weekdays or weekends, etc. We will confirm the exact price of your room at the time of your enquiry/reservation. Please note that unless otherwise specified, the 21% IVA tax is not included in listed prices.
Deposits/Guarantees and Cancellations:
When you make a reservation, it is understood that you have read and agree to the hotel’s cancellation policy and the terms and conditions listed on this site. We always require a credit card to secure a booking. A non-refundable deposit is required on all reservations in Argentina. This deposit (10 - 20%) will be taken as a credit card transaction, and a voucher will be sent to you showing payment of this deposit. The deposit will be applied to your final bill by the hotel. Note that some hotels in Argentina also require their own separate deposit, and some require full prepayment. Some of our hotels in Argentina require prepayment by Bank Transfer. We will send you all the details on how to complete the transaction (but please note that this can often take a week or more, and bank charges may apply). The deposit policy is shown for each hotel, and if a hotel requires a Credit Card authorization form we will fax this to you. You are requested to fax this to us with your signature. Should you need to cancel your reservation within a week of your arrival date, please contact the hotel direct (you will have received the phone number with your confirmation) and email Inns of Argentina also. If cancelling outside of the hotel's cancellation period, please advise us in good time (definitely within the hotel's cancellation period) and we will process the cancellation for you. We will send you confirmation of your cancellation showing any penalties. As the cancellation policy for each hotel is different, please ensure that you understand the policy for the hotel at which you are reserving. If you are unsure of the hotel's cancellation policy, please ask us at the time of making your reservation. Remember that the 15% non-refundable deposit taken by Inns of Argentina will not be refunded to you.
Accuracy of website/booking information:
Every effort has been made to accurately represent Inns of Argentina on this website, but occasionally changes do occur that may not be immediately reflected on the website. Neither the hotels nor Inns of Argentina can be held responsible for such changes. On occasion an emergency situation may arise in which the hotel is forced to close temporarily or withdraw certain services. We cannot make any representations or warranties on these changes but we will try our best to inform you of these situations as soon as possible. We cannot be responsible for errors or omissions. If an incorrect price is quoted to Inns of Argentina by the hotel and the reservation is confirmed at that price, Inns of Argentina cannot be held responsible for such discrepancy; pricing disputes should be addressed by the client to the hotel. We can never guarantee a specific room. We have no control over hotel personnel, equipment or activities and cannot be held liable for any inconvenience or loss incurred by guests while staying at these hotels. Any disputes should be resolved between the guest and the hotel. Hotels and proprietors are legally and financially independent of Inns en Route Inc. It is the responsibility of the client to keep track of their confirmed reservations. Inns en Route makes reservations when requested and if a client requests the same night(s) for two different hotels and these reservations are confirmed, it is the client's responsibility. In case of no-show, the client is liable for the cancellation fee. Although many of the hotels have swimming pools, the opening dates of the pools depend on the time of year, the weather and the region. Some restaurants, particularly at small hotels, do not open off-season or mid-week during mid-season. We try to indicate on our site when restaurants are scheduled to be closed, but on occasion the hotel may not let us know. We reserve the right to make changes to our site and the terms and conditions at any time.
Client Feedback
We solicit client feedback after a stay and include comments on each hotel's page. If comments made by clients are offensive or inappropriate we retain the right to not include them or to edit them for suitability.
Time & Reservations
We always act quickly once your reservation request, with the necessary guarantee, is received. We cannot, however, guarantee that a room is reserved until we get a confirmation from the hotel. You should not make travel plans until you receive this confirmation from us. We cannot be responsible for lost reservations due to time differences, technical problems or hotel errors.
If you do not receive details of your reservation within 3 days of sending us the relevant information, you must contact us by email or fax. On occasion a reservation confirmation will be undeliverable for various reasons (client has given us an incorrect email address, the email account is full, the internet service provider’s server is down, confirmation caught in spam filter etc.). If a telephone number or a fax number has been given to us we will attempt to reach you this way, but if you choose not to provide this information, then it is impossible for us to reach you. For this reason it is imperative that you contact us if you do not receive your confirmed reservation once you have sent us your credit card details and have instructed us to make a reservation for you. If we cannot reach you and you do not contact us, and you do not arrive at the hotel, the hotel will charge you as a no-show.
Maps & Directions
Locations on the map of Argentina are approximate only. You should definitely obtain an up-to-date map and guidebook before beginning your journey. Keep in mind that the road infrastructure is constantly changing. Whenever possible, arrive at the hotel during daylight hours. The smaller hotels, in particular, appreciate knowing your approximate arrival time.
